Kudremukh Peak Trek

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation. On the day of departure, you will also be added to a dedicated WhatsApp group for the trek, where you will receive the pickup location, reporting time, coordinator details, and other important trip instructions. Please make sure you check the WhatsApp group and arrive at the designated pickup point on time.

Yes, trekkers can join as first-time or solo participants. A trek leader will guide the group throughout the trek, and participants are expected to stay with the group and follow the trek leader's instructions and applicable safety guidelines.

The safety and security of women travellers are a priority at CompareMyTrip. Female travellers, including solo women, are welcome to participate in our treks and travel experiences. Our trek leaders accompany the group throughout the trek, providing guidance and assistance whenever required. Where applicable, our female trek leaders may also accompany the group, ensuring an added level of comfort and support for women travellers.

This depends on the specific trek and package selected. If applicable permits or Forest Department permissions are included, they will be mentioned under the Inclusions section of the trek package. Any charges not specifically mentioned as included will be payable separately.

Yes, leeches are present on the Kudremukh trail, particularly during wet conditions. Trekkers should take suitable precautions and be prepared for leech-prone sections.

The Kudremukh Trek is approximately 22 km in total, covering the route to the peak and back. It takes around 6 hours to complete, depending on the group's pace, trail conditions, breaks and time spent at the summit.

If you are unable to continue the trek, inform your trek leader immediately. The leader will guide you based on the situation and available options. Please note that completing the entire trek cannot always be guaranteed, and additional expenses arising from an early return or alternative arrangements may be payable separately.

If the trek needs to be cancelled, postponed or modified due to severe weather, Forest Department restrictions, trail conditions or other circumstances beyond operational control, CompareMyTrip will communicate the available options as per the applicable booking and cancellation policy.
